Plumbing:

When you plan your plumbing installation, consider the size of piping and have on hand a variety of fittings so that the pipes can be run where you need them to go. East 174th St Plumbing and Heating is best installed during the framing stage of building so that you can run pipes through the studs in the walls. If possible, locate sensitive connections in areas that will be accessible after you install the drywall.
The main thing to remember when installing drain pipes is to run them downhill. Check your local codes for the minimum and maximum drop for waste and drain lines and use plumbers tape to hang drain lines in the basement so that they maintain the required slope. Tees used for connecting drains have a sweep in them to allow the water to maintain a downward flow. Don't forget to vent waste and drain lines with a vertical pipe, usually that extends through the roof.
